Advanced POCUS Masterclass: Hemodynamic Phenotyping in AKI

This masterclass focuses on advanced point-of-care ultrasound applications in AKI and critical care. It goes beyond basic anatomy and introduces multi-organ POCUS for hemodynamic assessment, including cardiac responsiveness, pulmonary fluid tolerance, venous congestion, and renal perfusion.

What participants will learn

• How to evaluate the hemodynamic circuit using multi-organ POCUS.
• How to assess cardiac and fluid responsiveness at the bedside.
• How to interpret lung ultrasound profiles for pulmonary fluid tolerance.
• How to apply VExUS assessment for venous congestion and renal ultrasound parameters, such as renal resistive index.

Participants will gain a practical framework for using POCUS to guide fluid, diuretic, vasopressor, and CRRT-related decisions in critically ill AKI patients.
