Nurul Zaynah Nordin
Dr Nurul Nordin is a Consultant Nephrologist at Hospital Kuala Lumpur. She undertook the ISN AKI Ravi-Mehta Fellowship as a Clinical Fellow in the Critical Care Unit at St Thomas’ Hospital, London (2022-2023) and completed a Fellowship in Emergency and Advanced Critical Care Ultrasound with WINFOCUS. She is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, United Kingdom. Dr Nordin serves on Malaysia’s National Action Plan for Healthy Kidneys (ACT-KID) 2026–2030 and is a member of the Diversity and Equity Committee (DEC) of the Asian Pacific Society of Nephrology (APSN). Additionally, she serves on the NKF Malaysia Training Committee, the Malaysian Society of Nephrology (MSN) AKI Steering Committee, and the MSN Rare Kidney Disease Interest Group. She also co-chaired the Malaysia IFAD Workshop for the Malaysian Society of Intensive Care in 2025 and 2026. Her areas of interest include critical care nephrology, POCUS in haemodynamic AKI, fluid management in the critically ill, cardiorenal syndrome, pregnancy-related kidney disorders, ADPKD, and IgA nephropathy.
