Chung-Kuan Wu Taiwan

Chung-Kuan Wu, MD, PhD, is Chief of the Division of Digital Informatics Management and Innovation Incubation Center, Chief of the Hemodialysis Center of Sheng-Shian Building, and Director of the Dialysis Access Management Center at Shin Kong Wu Ho-Su Memorial Hospital, Taipei, Taiwan. He is also an Associate Professor at the Department of Medicine, Fu Jen Catholic University. Dr. Wu specializes in nephrology and dialysis vascular access, with research interests spanning cardiovascular–kidney interactions, vascular calcification, hemodynamics, cardiovascular imaging, and artificial intelligence in nephrology. He has published extensively in leading international journals, with over 50 peer-reviewed articles covering vascular access surveillance, cardiovascular risk stratification, chronic kidney disease, and machine learning–based clinical decision support. His current research aims to integrate multimodal clinical data, imaging biomarkers, and artificial intelligence to advance precision medicine and improve cardiovascular outcomes in patients with chronic kidney disease and end-stage kidney disease.
